Our story began, as many great stories do, with a bit of a travel nightmare.
Years ago, our founders were backpacking through Thailand. We were ready for the adventure of a lifetime, but we spent more time stressed out than soaking it in.
We haggled for boat tours at a chaotic pier, only to be crammed onto an overcrowded, unsafe boat. We booked a "trekking tour" that turned out to be a short walk on a paved road. We wasted an entire morning trying to find a bus, only to find it was sold out.
We saw the incredible, raw beauty of Thailand, but it was buried under a mountain of friction, bad information, and logistical headaches.
We knew there had to be a better way.
